Post Mundus by Martino Gamper

Part of the Post Mundus collection designed by Martino Gamper in 2012, this chair uses the iconic sinuous lines of the Thonet tradition, obtained by steaming the wood and curving it to the desired shape. The backrest and back legs are fashioned out of five pieces of curved wood that have a symmetric dialog with each other. The warm finish of the wood adds a charming touch to the piece that will make a statement in a contemporary or modern decor.
