Creating art in the form of furniture, Porte Italia merges old-world Italian design and modern aesthetic to craft the only existing hand-painted furniture fashioned in the 18th century Venetian style. This artistic venture was spearheaded by American designer Ann Graham and Enrico Lenarduzzi and his family, reviving the 400year-oldartistic craftendemic to the region. This family-run company is unique also for its business philosophy, adopting the innovative approach of enlisting the entire villages of Terzo di Aquileia and Cervignano to bring timeless works of art to life.
Bringing the artistic soul of Venice to the world, transforming tradition into timeless, hand-painted creations designed to endure

Porte Italia Venezia was founded over forty years ago in the heart of Venice, a city where art, history, and craftsmanship have coexisted for centuries. Established by Enrico Lenarduzzi together with American designer Ann Graham, the company was born from a clear and passionate vision: to rediscover the ancient Venetian traditions of hand-painted and decorated furniture and reinterpret them for the contemporary world. What began as a heartfelt endeavor has grown into a true cultural and family legacy.
Today, every creation by Porte Italia Venezia is entirely hand-painted and decorated using refined 18th-century Venetian techniques, passed down through generations of local artists. Each brushstroke reflects a slow, deliberate process that favors uniqueness over mass production. The company specializes in fully bespoke pieces, tailored to each client’s needs in terms of dimensions, colors, decorative elements, and overall atmosphere.
Alongside hand-painted furniture, the collection has expanded to include Murano glass mirrors and chandeliers, as well as wall and ceiling decorations. These range from hand-painted canvases applied like wallpaper to wooden panels, ceramic tiles, and on-site artistic interventions carried out anywhere in the world. Through these collaborations, Porte Italia Venezia continues to share Venice’s artistic heritage beyond local borders, preserving and renewing a deeply rooted craft tradition. Since 2023, the company has also been present in Paris, further strengthening its dialogue with European craftsmanship and culture.
