Wecselman Design is a Miami-based interior design studio founded by Deborah Wecselman, one of the most respected voices in contemporary design. A graduate of Parsons School of Design and former Senior Director of International Store Design at Ralph Lauren, Deborah brings a refined, classically modern sensibility to every project.

When choosing the perfect gift, what do you look for?

I always look for something different and unique and keep in mind who the person receiving is. I always give a gift that I would like to receive myself.

How did you curate your selection of gift ideas from Artemest?

I went through the vast amount of gifts you have and I tried to get a mix of items - edgy, different, something a client would understand, something a friend would cherish. I did a mix bag for everyone.
My favorites include the Gaetano Pesce Vase - I’m currently loving everything by him from Corsi Design Factory, from vases to placemats and coasters. I also adore Draga & Aurel; everything they create is truly remarkable, especially the throw they recently introduced. The pair of Serena Confalonieri flutes is a gift that nobody has but everyone should own to celebrate with their better half. I’m obsessed with the deBlona Vase and would love it in every color and finish - it’s the kind of special piece everyone should have. Lastly, I was quite intrigued by the Studio X Centerpiece, which is a fantastic piece at a great price.
