In the heart of Parabita, Palazzo Piccinno redefines contemporary Southern hospitality through a deeply personal lens. Set within a restored Neo-Gothic residence, the boutique retreat invites guests into a slower rhythm of life shaped by craftsmanship, conviviality, and the dreamlike spirit of “Puglia Surrealista".

Along the quiet streets of Parabita, where time seems to soften under the southern sun, Palazzo Piccinno offers an intimate interpretation of modern hospitality rooted in place and memory. Housed within an early 20th-century Neo-Gothic residence on Via Coltura, the palazzo has been meticulously restored with the support of local artisans, preserving the architectural soul of the house through original tiles, arches, and handcrafted details that speak to the layered history of Salento.

Each season, the palazzo embraces a new creative narrative that shapes its atmosphere and guest experience. This year’s theme, Puglia Surrealista, transforms the house into a poetic reflection of the region itself—dreamlike yet grounded, playful yet deeply authentic. The concept unfolds subtly throughout the property: in the breakfast creations by Chef Marco Cataldo, in carefully curated music selections, and in candlelit gatherings held in the garden beneath the warm Apulian evening sky. Here, design and hospitality merge into an immersive sensibility rather than a staged aesthetic.

Beyond its walls, the palazzo invites guests to experience Salento through the philosophy of vita lenta. Coastal walks, hidden trails through olive groves, slow mornings by the sea, and encounters with local makers become part of a broader narrative centered on presence and connection. Located just a short drive from Gallipoli, Santa Maria al Bagno, and Otranto, Palazzo Piccinno captures a version of Puglia that feels deeply lived rather than merely discovered—warm, soulful, and gently surreal.
