Artemest announces its design collaboration with the architecture and design firm Rockwell Group to furnish the U.S. debut of Le Specialità in Miami’s Design District, led by Spicy Hospitality Group. Together, the three partners bring Milanese dining culture, contemporary design, and Italian artisanal excellence to Florida’s vibrant culinary scene.
Founded in Milan in 1977, Le Specialità is celebrated for its authentic Italian cuisine, renowned pizzas, and trattoria-style hospitality. For its first U.S. outpost, Artemest curated furniture, lighting, and décor from Italy’s master artisans, blending the restaurant’s Milanese roots with Rockwell Group’s dynamic vision and Artemest’s commitment to heritage craftsmanship. The collaboration reflects a shared dedication to culture, design, and experience, a natural alignment between Spicy Hospitality Group’s Le Specialità, a Milanese icon, Rockwell Group, a global leader in hospitality design, and Artemest, the contemporary voice of Italian craftsmanship.

Working with Artemest and their exceptional craftspeople and artisans allowed our studio to create furniture, lighting, and decorative objects that reinforce the restaurant’s story of Milanese design heritage meeting Miami energy.
The interiors are brought to life through a collection of bespoke pieces designed by Rockwell Group and crafted exclusively for Le Specialità Miami by Artemest’s Italian artisans. The tables, produced in artisan workshops in Friuli Venezia Giulia, feature hand-finished lava stone and forged metal bases that give each piece a subtly unique character. The curved walnut cash counter was assembled by hand, then finished with a series of glossy lacquered bands applied through a multi-step traditional lacquering process.
Custom brass and glass lighting, designed by Rockwell Group and produced exclusively for Le Specialià, illuminates the bar. Crafted in Veneto, the frosted blown-glass spheres are supported by brass metal mounts, bringing warmth, depth, and a sculptural presence above the bar while reinforcing the interior’s material language.

Created through close collaboration between Rockwell Group and Italy’s master makers, each detail reflects a dialogue between design intent and artisanal execution, integrating tradition with contemporary hospitality design.
