Andata e Ritorno Paperweights

These whimsical sculptural paperweights are inspired by Milan and Rome. Simple colors and abstract forms bring these iconic cities to life: an irregularly-shaped polygon crafted in biege Travertino Tiburtino marble forms the silhouette of Rome's Colosseum, while a series of superimposed jagged forms crafted in white Carrara marble evokes the white facade of Milan's renowned Duomo. The stark graphic contrast enhances the different textures and colors of the marbles, producing a stunning visual effect. These pieces are hand-carved by i Frioli marble workers.
