Designed for Reschio: available for all

Reschio’s wilderness hides a font of energy within its Tabaccaia, headed up by Architect Count Benedikt Bolza, second generation owner of the estate. For more than 20 years his Architecture and Design Studio has unleas he dvision and technical know-how to transform a crumbling castle to a superlative hotel, abandoned farmsteads to elegant houses with sweeping gardens, landscapes within natural contours, stylish interiors filled with beautiful furniture and accessories; all designed from the hub that is the Tabaccaia.
All the designs use materials sourced in Italy, most in the immediate vicinity of Reschio. These are then transformed by Benedikt’s carpenters, blacksmiths, stone masons and upholsterers. Umbria has amazing local materials, such as ancient oak, travertine, marble and, those living here know the best way to work it and use it. Most hill towns were renowned for specialising in a specific craft and today their descendants still practise with amazing knowledge and care. Reschio likes to take his designs to the sespecialists, work alongside them to create a prototype and then see their precise skills to realise his vision.
