Corderie Polychrome Sculpture

Ancient glassblowing techniques from the Murano tradition were employed to craft this stunning, minimalist glass sculpture. Resting on a cylindrical base, an extra-smooth and clear disk encloses a radial design of polychrome murrinas made of ultra-thin and stretched filigree canes (Zanifirico) and small metal particles, the sublime, kaleidoscope-like effect achieved using the "summers" technique.
