Dalmata Black Porous Lava Stone and Cast Bronze Coffee Table

Designed by Fabrizio Bendazzoli in collaboration with Sartorialitica, the Dalmata coffee table explores the expressive potential of porous lava stone through refined craftsmanship. The open-pore surface is enriched by bronze infiltration, achieved using a technique derived from goldsmithing, creating a vibrant interplay of textures. The structure rests on three cylindrical legs: two carved from solid lava stone blocks and a central one in cast bronze, whose polished finish subtly echoes the irregular pattern of the top, balancing material contrast with visual harmony. Due to its artisanal nature and the use of raw materials, each piece is inherently unique, and any natural variations are to be considered a distinctive feature.
