The Peacocks Oval Green and Yellow Tray

Sacred bird to Egyptians and originally from Ethiopia, the phoenix is the stupefying decorative focus of this oval ceramic tray. Finely engraved by hand following Sardinian traditional techniques, its plumage appears richly detailed and painted in vibrant shades of green, emerald, and yellow finished with sober beige accents. A motif of dots and curls accents the rim.
