Ostrica Deep Blue Hand-Modelled Tuscan Ceramic Sculpture

The Ostrica takes the form of a cupped oyster shell reinterpreted in deep blue matte ceramic, a form that is simultaneously ancient and contemporary. Hand-shaped in Tuscany in collaboration with Ceramiche Ceccarelli, a three-generation ceramics workshop, each piece is built from original workshop moulds that have been reimagined for Studio Bojola's aesthetic. The matte blue surface absorbs and holds light rather than reflecting it. No two pieces are identical. Suitable for displaying alone or with a single stem.
