The Kiss Tapestry

The aim of the work involves subverting traditional imagery and rewriting the fabric’s narrative through various mixed mediums and techniques, such as hand painting, sewn threads, metallic foil, old ornamental trimmings, collaging pieces of old and antique fabrics, and much more. The intention behind this work is to invert conventional concepts, concentrating on individual motifs for embellishment and constructing an entirely new context. This piece is unique.
