In music, Rhapsody is a free and varied composition. It is presented as a set of melodies, different among them for rhythm and harmony that it gives to the composition extemporized tones where its coherence it is expressed only in the general context. Tondo Doni collection has been inspired to this concept and it has created Rhapsody, a complex and artistic artifice where shapes of different dimensions converge in a unique item.
This vase is composed of 6 spheres different in dimension and connected one to another in a vertical organic and plastic development, that lays on a bigger hemisphere which is the base. The stylistic coherence is expressed in the “dandelion” cut, which its name has been inspired from the flower, it embraces each sphere by exalting the brilliance of the crystal.

Discovering the Artisan

Romeo Design
Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy | Designer
Ignazio Romeo began his artistic career in the 1980s when he became acquainted with new techniques such as silk-screen printing and metalsmithing. Many of Romeo’s exhibitions focus on the interaction between the artwork and the environment, on the dialogue between the “oeuvre” and the exhibition place, the external and the internal. Constantly seeking to improve himself, Romeo experiments with materials and techniques to create unique objects of design and sculptural flair yet that are rooted in conceptual research.Discover more
