Belemnite Cluster #2 Decorative Vase

This artwork consists of stoneware modules, each individually hand-thrown and modified. Every piece is meticulously hand-cut to seamlessly integrate with the surface it joins. Following this, the piece undergoes a bisque firing, then is glazed and fired to 1280 degrees Celsius. Daniel Cavey's artistic practice is deeply rooted in the connection between humanity and the natural world. The metaphorical and conceptual exploration of this relationship forms the core of his work.
