Rullo Ametista Vase

The name Rullo evokes the act of rolling the heated glass on the blowpipe. This small vase is firstly shaped by blowing the molten glass, and then, once cooled, it is further modeled by carving the surface. The final polishing enhances the vibrations of the light on the etched surface. It is made by the Molatura technique which takes its name from the grinding wheel used to carve the cold glass, which in Italian is called “Mola”. This vase is unique and signed.
