Policombustione N.43 Sculpture

Poly-combustion is a particular technique applied by Gianmaria Potenza. It consists of polystyrene plates of different shapes and thicknesses, burned, assembled and painted according to a particular design or reference. Potenza takes inspiration from the lagoon sunsets and the Byzantine mosaics. Therefore even the colours, from blue to gold, interpret the lights and reflections of the Venetian canals.
