Set of 48 Tiles Rosone Remese

An elaborately designed rose detail, this handmade masterpiece is composed of 48 cotto tiles, each measuring 20 x 20 cm for a total surface of 120x160 cm. The decorations, hand painted on the Bianco Vietri glaze, feature a white oval frame with a blue scalloped rim, surrounding a garland of traditional Neapolitan scroll and floral motifs. This exquisitely ornate garland frames the central element of the composition, a white peony in a sea of colors. De Maio's use of centuries-old processing techniques makes each piece unique and prestigious, reinterpreting past decorative elements with a modern taste.
