Scoscio Oriental Dancer Statuette

The epitome of aesthetic grace, this bronze statuette, crafted using the lost-wax casting method, depicts the seductive profile of an oriental dancer performing the splits ("scoscio" in Italian) pose. The original artwork from which this piece is copied belonged to a private collection and was handcrafted of white Carrara marble during the Art Nouveau by an unknown French artist.
