"Take Me Up" is Paolo Stella's first rugs collection and it draws inspiration from the ceilings of his Milanese apartment. His first memory of a rug is Aladdin's flying carpet magically helping people to fulfill their dreams. When asked to design one, he lay down on the rug in his living-room and saw the elegant plasters decorating the ceiling. Suddenly, he decided to transpose them onto his collection. "A rug can fly us wherever our fantasy allows it, even up the ceiling (and beyond)". P.S.
