Walnut and Stones Dining Table

This evocative and unique table features the central section (1.5 cm thick) of Italian walnut, the largest part of the trunk often discarded for its rich veinings and hardness. The plank is secured on a 5-cm thick plywood base and flanked by two sections made of pressed shavings of bronze, black stones, white pebbles and bronze, the latter preserved in its golden hue thanks to an epoxy resin coating to avoid oxidation. The base is composed of maple and teak forming a striped pattern. This table cannot be customized nor reproduced as it is made of salvaged wood pieces from old farmhouses.
