Dynamic and fanciful, this sculptural object is inspired by the most ubiquitous substance on earth: water. Made of white Carrara marble, this oversized, water droplet seemingly moves along a surface, its sinuous, rippled edge and tapered silhouette imbuing the work with inherent energy. As an integral part of the marble-working process, water is a constant driver of innovation. This piece is an homage to the understated bond of these two dissimilar materials, an ancient dance transcending time, innovation, and form. Designed by i Frioli marble workers.
