Malandrina POP DECORATION Vase

Crafted entirely by hand and part of a limited series, this stunning vase is made of ceramic using a complex process that requires an initial shaping on the lathe, a drying stage at room temperature, and a first firing in the kiln. The application of the enamel and a hand-decoration with applications of color to render the lips, eyes, and jewelry of the woman's face in bas relief are followed by a second firing to obtain the vivid hues that enliven this piece. Either alone or displayed with other items in the same collection of Moro and Malandrina, this piece is elegant and unique.
