Description
Art and design merge in this one-off sculpture marked by contemporary lines crafted of elm from a salvaged century-old tree. Designed for multiple display options - hanging, freestanding, or as a tabletop - the wood is treated with fire to make it more homogeneous and give it a darker color while enhancing its natural grain and texture. The treatment with epoxy resins and sand adds a contemporary look by creating a pronounced, lighter area in the center and a glossy and opaque surface.
