Polychrome Resin Pear Sculpture

Made with meticulous attention to detail, this pear-shaped sculpture is a one-of-a-kind craftsmanship gem by artist Pietro Arnoldi. Different, polychrome wood types and resin are inserted in a mold that is slightly bigger than an actual pear. The catalyzing and etching processes require patience, reflected in the sublime final result. An ancient wrought-iron nail as the stem completes the piece.
