Robins Sculpture

A charming sculpture which depicts a pair of red breasted robins. These robins were sculpted from life by Vincenzo observing the local robins in Tuscany in the chianti area, who made their nest in his countryside studio. The pose shows one robin proudly presenting a twig to his partner, both poised on a piece of Tuscan stone. Modeled in clay and then cast in bronze following the traditional lost wax method at the Florentine foundry, this piece is part of a limited series of 12 sculptures, each individually signed, dated, and numbered.
