SciòSciò Kinetic Sculpture Limited Edition

A tribute to the city of Naples, SciòSciò is a mobile sculpture commissioned for The Ladies' Room Collection for EDIT 2019 produced in a limited edition series of 10 pieces. Balanced on thin brass rods, the sculpture features an eye-shaped pendant in hand-cut gold-colored glass and hand-cut oxidized copper element with sea-foam imprints symbolizing the sea balanced by a raw volcanic rock. These amulets coexist and balance in an abstract suspended landscape that calls to mind the airing laundry from balconies that are iconic elements of the city's skyline.
