In the heart of Forte dei Marmi, between the sea, the Apuan Alps, and the elegant streets of the town center, the former Hotel Nautilus is given a second life: this is how Villa Costanza was born, a boutique hotel that reinterprets the echo of the Versilian "Dolce Vita" in a contemporary architectural language. A meticulous project in which every detail speaks to the territory's authentic identity.

The opening of Villa Costanza marks a new life for the former Hotel Nautilus and tells a story of rediscovered beauty: that of a historic building restored to its original splendor and transformed into a refined, contemporary residence.
Signed by Michele Vitaloni & Partners and architect Marco Bernacca, the restoration project stems from the desire to combine the charm of 1960s and 1970s Versilia with a contemporary rationalist design. This idea translates into an essential, material-driven architectural language that celebrates local materials and artisanal craftsmanship.

White dominates the spaces as a symbol of light and purity, amplifying their natural luminosity. Harmonious geometries, dark bronze details, and fine materials such as Carrara marble, Canaletto walnut, and brass create an elegant, timeless atmosphere, while Tiffany blue, a chromatic thread running through the spaces, becomes the distinctive mark of the hotel's new aesthetic identity.

The property's intimate scale is the cornerstone of owners Laura Cardella and Gian Luca Conti's hospitality philosophy: to create an authentic, intimate atmosphere with the character of a private residence. Hence the choice to keep just sixteen rooms, all with views of the Apuan Alps, each conceived as a small universe of velvets, custom lamps, and carefully curated details.

The same care that defines the interior spaces is also reflected outdoors, where greenery and natural light engage in harmony with the architecture. At the heart of the property is the Corte Verde, a secret garden gathered around a central bar: a space conceived as a natural invitation to gather and socialize, one that perfectly reflects the soul of Villa Costanza: intimate, elegant, deeply tied to the lifestyle of Forte dei Marmi.
