Allegra Brigata Sculpture

Allegra Brigata Sculpture - Agnese Parronchi

Inspired by Pagliaccetti, a 1927 painting by Fortunato Depero, this striking sculpture is a breath of energy and movement in a modern or eclectic home. It was crafted of ceramic with the "colatura" technique, in which the clay is poured into a gypsum mold and fired twice, with colors and a glass finish added during the second firing. The geometric and repetitive motifs that create the three walking figurines encapsulate the dynamic aesthetic of the Futuristic movement of the early 20th century.
