Bata Kumbala Shelves

Bata Kumbala Shelves - Maddalena Selvini

Bata Kumbala is a Sanscrit word that defines a centuries-old technique that improves the color and transparency of precious stones by subjecting them to high temperatures (up to 800 degrees Celsius). With the same treatment, slabs of serpentine stone get a striking pink coloration over their natural green hue, creating a one-of-a-kind decorative element for a unique effect. The three horizontal shelves are supported by elements in aluminum and will be a complementing touch to a contemporary or modern home.
