Bruco Blown Glass Dessert Plate

This breathtaking hand blown glass plate is inspired by old examples of the Italian city of Siena’s coat of arms, dating between 1500 and 1700. The intense movement of the purple-shaded-blue stream of color divides the plate into four parts, representing the Sienese City Ward of Bruco. The beautifully hand finished edges simulate the movement of fabric. This is a unique handmade piece realized following the tradition of glassblowing from Murano.
