A classic silhouette revisited with imagination and minimalist charm, this sculptural bowl is subtle in its elegance. Fashioned of paper clay, a combination of cellulose and clay, the spherical silhouette is marked by a wide, jagged mouth and dynamic texture, due to the randomly drawn horizontal and vertical ridges. The black clay exterior contrasts with the pearl-white interior finish, enhancing the visual allure of this piece that is best displayed as a centerpiece on a kitchen island, dining room table, or console. Every one of Paola Paronetto’s creations is unique. Slight variations in shape, colour and size are to be considered a guarantee of authenticity and value. They are finished with non-toxic satin-finish enamels. Although very rarely, it is possible for them to leak after long periods of exposure to water. The white pieces can be washed with water or sanitizing products, whereas the coloured pieces must be treated more gently and cleaned with a feather duster or a soft cloth, dry or moistened very slightly with water.
