This delicate and magnificent cloche is named after Chak, the vassal of the Chak Took Ich’aak dynasty of the ancient Mayan civilization. Part of the Mayan Kan Dynasty collection consisting of five varied pieces in borosilicate glass, this extraordinary object can be used for covering pastries and other foods, or for the luxurious display of small objects. The glass is embellished with inlaid colors and adorned with sandblasted decorations. When placed together with other pieces in the collection, a rare view is given into the world of this legendary Mesoamerican society.
