Designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1995, this vase will stand out in a contemporary or eclectic interior, thanks to its contrasting volumes and colors, distinctive features of the post-modernist style. This elegant container with lid is versatile and striking and can be used to store objects or display flowers. Its body in mouth-blown glass rests on a transparent base and is decorated using glossy white, black, and white enamels applied with the silk-screen method. The glass was fired at 550 degrees to fix the colors, while the lid is a disk with a central hole in black stain-finished ebony.
