This elegant sculpture was inspired by the painting entitled Costume Sketch from 1923 by Vadim Meller, a Russian Constructivist and Expressionist artist. Resting on a green base, the black and white dapper gentleman ("gentiluomo" in Italian) stands in an effortlessly sophisticated pose, with one hand holding his top hat and another resting on his walking cane. Entirely crafted of clay poured into a gypsum mold and fired twice, this delicate piece has a glass finish that gives it a distinctive shine.
