Decorated cotto is obtained by hand-glazing the biscuit with ancient preparation enamels. This tile has been decorated with the Cuerda Seca (Dry Cord) technique, introduced in Spain during the Arab conquest. The method consists in tracing the contours of the drawings on the raw piece with a string soaked in grease and manganese before glazing and firing in traditional ovens. Size: 1m² (25 tiles).
