Kallicrate Vase

Kallicrate Vase - Cesa 1882

Named after one of the architects of the Parthenon, symbol of classical Greek architecture, the Kallicrate Collection merges classical forms and modern sensibility. The collection's leitmotif is the Ionic-order capital with its spiral, scroll-shaped volutes and symmetry that appears as a decorative accent at the vase's base. An inverted cone forms the body with an asymmetric mouth that is cut at an oblique angle, adding a contemporary and versatile look that will harmoniously combine with both classic and contemporary decor.
