King, Captain, and Soldier On Horses Sculpture

Master ceramist Diego Poloniato minutely carved this singular ceramic sculpture depicting a clumsy pyramid of piled horses ridden by a king, a captain, and a soldier, respectively from top to bottom. The minute handcrafting process starts with a blend of semi-refractory clays and proceeds with a firing at high temperatures, vitrification, and treatment with pure oxides to create the pictured finished product.
