With this series of “ embroidered ceramics” the artist Emilie Lisi explores her mains knowledge and obsessions: Yarn and clay. More than a simple object of decoration, “Le silence d’Argus” tells a story. The embroidery is applied on the ceramic, on the other side, like messages left secretly. Like an “Amuletos”, the object becomes a key to connecting with the intangible. This unique handmade piece is built in white earthenware, using the coiling technique, finished with a shiny trasparent glaze.
