Made in Puglia Cono Refrigerium Bell - Set of 2

Made in Puglia Cono Refrigerium Bell - Set of 2 - Gianfranco Conte

A charming and original piece of exquisite craftsmanship, this set of small terracotta bells from the Made in Puglia Collection features the distinctive shape of a "trullo", the cone-shaped stone structures originally used as temporary housing by farmers. Painted by hand in white, the cross spire and the symbol of the chalice with the three radiating lines representing the Christian trinity are among the most commonly found on these architectural forms typical of the Itria Valley in Apulia.
