This Medusa-head mosaic is made from various types of marble tesserae, including White Carrara, Trani and Belgium Black. Each tile measures 1x1x1 cm. Made using an Ancient Roman method on limestone atop a wooden support. Rimmed in copper and showcased in an artisanally handcrafted frame by Cornici Salvadorini, located in Tuscany.
