A seductive synthesis between ancient and modern inspirations, this refined sculpture was presented at the EDIT Napoli design exhibit. Deriving its name from a material with fiery reflections that ancients thought composed the walls of the mythical underwater city of Atlantis, this semi-spherical sculpture boasts a smooth surface with a polished finish, interrupted by an uneven, crescent-shaped texture called "philosopher's beard" crafted using a flame that gives the metal a burnished effect.
