This one-of-a-kind carpet is part of a limited series of 36 pieces executed entirely by hand by skilled Nepalese artisans following a design by Nathalie Du Pasquier, who also signed each piece. The traditional methods employed to craft this carpet are part of the Tibetan tradition in which every step in the preparation of the wool, including the knotting and the final finishing touches, is executed by hand. The Tibetan wool used is also one of the finest in the world, durable and rich in lanolin. Handmade by craftsmen in Uma technique. Life's Commodities 2005 Collection.
