Ars Fabricandi

NoAr Small Stool

This small stool was developed by talented Brazilian designer Carol Gay. The idea for this piece came about during a collaboration between Ars Fabricandi and Sicilian architect and artisan Isabella Doro. The work done by Isabella involved the re-purposing of the rubber from old truck tires in order to create unique and beautiful functional works of art, while minimizing waste. The structure of this piece is in iron and the comfortable seat was crafted by weaving together pieces of rubber from the tires.
