Daniela Forti

Nuvoletta Centerpiece

This exquisite sculpture is part of the "Meduse" series and it was completely hand-made using the a technique called vetrofusione, where the glass is exposed to temperatures so high that they alter its molecular process, changing its shape and creating a new form. The textured tray of the sculpture, evoking the shape of a jellyfish, is supported by a series of delicate filaments of glass tentacles.
