Panarea Vase by Ugo La Pietra

Dedicated to Panarea, a volcanic island of the Aeolian archipelago north of Sicily, this superb vase was handcrafted of glossy, white-glazed ceramic by Tuscan artist Sandro Da Boit. The piece features a lantern shape with two, small finger handles and two, hand-painted stylized figurines in light blue. For his Vasi Mediterranei collection, Ugo La Pietra was inspired by the shapes of everyday pottery used in the Mediterranean basin. Stunning as a stand alone piece, this object will bring a rustic accent to a modern kitchen or dining room.
