Picassina Sculpture - Agnese Parronchi

This stunning sculpture was crafted of clay using the "colatura" technique, in which the clay is poured into a gypsum mold and fired twice in the kiln. During the second firing the colors are added and a final glass finish is given to add a glossy effect. This unique design is the three-dimensional rendition of a painting by Pablo Picasso entitled Child with Flower from 1945, and boasts a unique color combination and the iconic multiple points of view that characterize Cubist art.
