A spheroidal sculpture, formed by several layers of wood and subjected to flames, this fascinating Pitch Black piece began with a cube made up of layers of Ayous wood. Manual processing forms a sphere where the top is left intentionally rough, the upper part is carved out leaving inverted pinnacles that are then torched, creating an evocative and primordial piece.
