Designed by Andrea Fantinato, this vase is inspired by the giant Cyclop Polyphemus described in Homer's Odyssey. Handcrafted of ceramic using the casting technique, this piece showcases a glossy yellow finish and a cylindrical shape accented with two small openings near the top edge. Designed to be displayed with its counterpart which features a single, large opening, the pair symbolizes the Cyclop before and after the blinding by Ulysses. This modern vase can be mixed and matched in the other two available colors (matte black and glossy white).
