Bottega Ghianda

Portofino by Gianfranco Frattini

Designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1978, this exquisite small storage unit is displayed at the MoMA in New York City. Its harmonious proportions and interplay of straight lines and round shapes creates a unique design that will standout in any home. Extremely versatile, this piece features four drawers crafted with dovetail joints that can be completely pulled out and used as trays, since they are finished throughout. The top is a semi-circular piece in pear wood with a striking ebony finish that evokes the shape of the moon on a clear summer night.
