Part of the Postsparkasse Collection, this elegant black stool was designed in 1906 by Otto Wagner for the headquarters of the Post Office Savings Bank in Vienna. The solid beechwood elements that make its base were bent using steam and support a plywood seat with curved angles. The metal hardware is visible to create a striking textural and color contrast. Part of the same series is also the armchair, combining them will create a cohesive effect in a modern and elegant living room or dining room.
